i wish i lived in a high window overlooking a tiny road. i'd live with a tiny mouse and a cat. they'd be friends too. their names would be tilly and rupert i think and we'd share a small cosy flat. and i'd take tilly mouse with me to the market and keep her in my purse. i wish i worked in a little bookstore with regular customers who i'd known since i was a girl. rupert kitty would come with me everyday and takes naps on the books and counters. and i wish i had a friend who lived in the flat next to mine and we'd talk to each other through the walls. he'd leave surprises at my doorstep and i'd write him letters written in a secret language. that is my wish.

in pennsylvania it snowed and i wore secret shiny holiday leggings under my pants and layers of tops and cardigans and socks with hats and mittens and hooded coats
and snow boots. in california it's warm. very warm and sunny and it asks politely for tank tops and dresses and sandals and swimsuits. venice beach and hollywood and dollywood and santa monica.
